Pryor Resident Pleads Guilty To Federal Firearm Charge

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Michael Jason Sanders, age 44, of Pryor, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition, punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000.00 fine.The Indictment charged Sanders with knowingly possessing two semi-automatic pistols and 96 rounds of ammunition on May 5, 2025, after having been previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.
