United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, and Acting Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Office of Homeland Security Investigations (“HSI”), Pete Gizas, and Commissioner of the New York City Police Department (“NYPD”), Jessica S. Tisch, announced today the unsealing of an Indictment charging three defendants in connection with the August 7, 2025, murder of Ralph Herrera, a/k/a “Chicken,” who was shot from point-blank range in the side of the head while standing on a Bronx sidewalk.
